Blogging: ArtJournal1

Hello to all: Here is the start on blogging about doing Art Journal. First and for most, read all you can about
art journals. By reading what and how others do their art journals will guide you into your own creative pattern.
There really is no right or wrong way of doing this form of art. The goal is to get your feelings, thoughts, ideas, silliness, dreams and goals down on paper. You don't have to be a great artist, just have fun and let yourself go.
I plan on blogging on how my journal is coming along. I hope to share a few freebies that you can download, scrap or print out to use in your journal. I also have a friend, Courtney who designs digital scrap kits. I will be posting information about her kits that you can also use for art journals.

Here is a picture of the outside of my art journal. I bought it at Walmart other know in my household as (Wallyworld) and it is a art sketch book.
next is the first page I placed into my book. I was frustrated with a site that I used for my scrappages. For some reason, I can't get into my homepage. The site people say it is a problem with my computer. It is not. for
I was able to go into my husband's account and it works just fine. Needless to say, I'm frustrated about this site. So I started another page and now I can't get it to verify my different email address.  So here is the page
see you don't have to be an expert artist. just get it down on paper.  Well, I'm off to go do some
sewing on my new quilt project.

Kiss Me!

What an interesting title for a kit... This is not the average romantic kit for Valentine's Day. This kit is more about love. Courtney wanted to create a kit that scrappers could use for the love ones in their lives. Such as that significant other, the children, and even that beloved pet. Again, Courtney took the time to hand draw and make doodles in vivid sweet colors. In to making your own cards or doing art journaling? This kit is great to print for all of your projects. What a cool way to say Happy Valentine's Day to a love one by making your own card.
Remember the days as a child you may have made your own cards.
Kiss Me has 68 elements, 14 papers, 10 word art, and 6 borders.

You may find this delightful kit
at
for ONLY $2.50 for two weeks.
Don't forget to hop on over to visit
Here are two designs of Art Journal that I made with Kiss Me kit.

Happy Scrapping to everyone!

HIDE & SEEK

Is Art Journaling new to you? Well, it is to me. But what a cool way to get your thoughts down on paper.
Hide & Seek is a kit that has mostly hand drawn (pen and paper) by Courtney's Digiscrappin with personal touches that will give your journal pages that little bit of a messy grunge with lots of bright color feel.
Hide and Seek is an experience that deals with self-discovery of fining out things about yourself that you may not of know that could be both good or bad. This is a new way to develop personal growth of the self.
This kit contains 56 elements, 14 papers of 12 x 12, and 8 word art.
Hide and Seek is on Sale now
for $2.50 for two weeks then will be $5.00

Here are two pages that I have done using Hide & Seek
I had so much fun creating these page for Courtney. Journaling is something that I don't
normally do. But I sure did like the way the pages turned out. I will be doing more of this
type of scrapping in the near future.
